Family History Research Services
Have you ever wondered where your family comes from? Might you be related to someone famous? Are you interested in your ethnic origins?
My research focuses on direct ancestry (eg, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents…). My sources include the following:
- Historical newspapers
- Records of births, marriages and deaths (or parish registers prior to civil registration)
- Wills
- Immigration records
- Court and criminal records
- Census records
- Electoral rolls
- National Archives
This is not an exhaustive list, but bear in mind that recent records may be restricted due to privacy concerns (eg, a birth certificate registered in NSW less than 100 years ago).
As stated above, my research specialises in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. See below the project fees:
- Four Generations $948.75
- Seven Generations $1,772.25
- Further Ancestry $2,548.35

My own interest in family history began when my grandfather showed me a book tracing our ancestry back seven generations to Norfolk, England. I already had a fascination with history in general, extending to old coins and archaeology. But now with a family tree, I could see my own links to the past.
For example, when I learned of the controversy surrounding the famous Australian outlaw Ned Kelly, I was so interested in his story that I decided to write another life-story for him based on my own research. Little did I know that, as my grandmother later told me, our family is apparently related to Ned Kelly!
Years later, as a researcher, it is my aim to provide clients with family histories that they can be confident in. In my reports, I always cite the sources, allowing you to review any of the evidence for yourself. I hope the findings will provide fascination for your family for generations to come!
